  This essentials course for speech and language therapy professionals will develop your knowledge and understanding of Parkinson's and the range of symptoms people living with the condition may experience. You will gain insights into the different aspects of communication that are affected and appropriate interventions, ways to assess and manage eating, drinking and swallowing issues, medication side effects, developing your service and when to refer. You will also have opportunities to reflect on your current practice and what changes you might implement as a result of your learning.
